Our Cultural Program
Traditional Native American culture can play an important part in one’s recovery. Our cultural program includes: Regular sweat lodges, talking circles, arts and crafts, visits from elders and guest speakers. Respect and responsiveness to our client’s choice and client’s strength guides our programming.
Addiction affects the entire family. As WSHC, we recognize and respect the important role that family members and extended families have on our clients. WSHC encourages participation by the family in the client’s treatment experience. Families are encouraged to participate in following activities: Training and education sessions for family members, group counseling, and family week and ALANON meetings.
